Gor Mahia will come against Group B runners up Chemelil Sugar in the quarter final stages of the Kenyan premier League Under-20 competition
After overcoming Sofapaka by a solitary goal in their last group A game, Gor Mahia will come against Group B runners up Chemelil Sugar in the quarter final stages of the Kenyan premier League Under-20 competition set to kick off on Sunday 24 April 2016 at Camp Toyoyo.
Rivals AFC Leopards, who finished second behind K'ogalo after holding Western Stima on Wednesday will come up against Mathare United who qualified as Group B winners with five points.
Hotly contested
Another quarter finals will see winners of group D coming up against runners’ up of group C with the winners of group C entertaining runners up of group D.
Group C which has Ulinzi Stars, Ushuru, Sony Sugar and Bandari Fc has been the hotly contested and it will go down the wire as each team has acquired three points.
Kakamega Homeboyz in group C is already qualified but will be looking to head to the quarterfinals as the league leaders when they entertaining second placed Muhoroni Youth on Thursday 21 April.
Two other quarterfinal ties will be played on Monday at the same venue.
