2009 Kenyan Premier League Champions Sofapaka have called for trials for their Under-20 team that will be representing the club in the forthcoming KPL U20 tournament scheduled April 17-30.
The team’s coaching staff led by head coach David Ouma will be conducting the trials from tomorrow Friday 1st April at the team’s training ground at Eastleigh High School starting 2pm.
Base
According to the club’s CEO Emmanuel Kayoyi, the team that will be successful after the trials will form the base of the club’s youth structure and will be representing the team in the forthcoming junior tournament.
“We will be holding the trials starting tomorrow and we want to call on capable players to come along for the exercise. The team selected from the exercise will form a base for our youth structures and will be representing the club in the April tournament,” the club CEO Emmanuel Kayoyi said in the club’s official portal.
The trials will take a break for the weekend and continue on Monday and the players attending the trials are requested to carry along their national identification cards or birth certificates.
